Purpose & Scientific Principle

Experience process: Hold the handrails and slowly enter the cabin, look at the surrounding walls and furniture normally, and feel the illusion of dizziness and loss of body control; Control experiment: Close your eyes tightly and walk only relying on the soles of your feet and vestibular perception, the dizziness will be greatly reduced; open your eyes and the illusion will be restored immediately; observe the furnishings in the house: small balls and water bottles look like "Automatically rolling to high places" intuitively confirms the actual tilt of the ground; after walking out of the cabin, refer to the popular science display board to sort out the scientific laws of the human body where the visual and vestibular perception systems work together. The exhibition uses the signal conflict between visual perception and the human vestibular balance system to create a strong illusion: visual signal: the walls, doors, windows, and furniture in the house are vertical, and the brain relies on life experience to determine the level of the room and the flat ground; the proprioceptive balance signal: the human body's feet, inner ear, and vestibular organs are real Perceiving the ground is tilted, gravity feedback that the body is on an inclined plane; two completely contradictory sensory information are transmitted to the brain simultaneously, and the brain cannot make unified judgments, which directly causes dizziness, unstable standing, walking crookedly, and the body unconsciously falling to a lower place; expanded connections: motion sickness, seasickness, 3D Dizziness all arises from the same sensory conflict mechanism.
