The exhibition items tell the distribution of China's seismic zones and other information through sand table interaction.
How to Operate
This exhibition item consists of a sand table model, a splicing screen and a knob.
The human-machine interface sets the selection buttons for the distribution areas of my country's seismic zones, which are [Taiwan, China] [Southwest Region] [Northwest Region] [North China] [Southeast Coastal Region]. The audience can select any earthquake zone through the knob and watch the sand table light belt demonstration and video introduction.
Our country is located between the two major seismic zones in the world - the Pacific Rim Seismic Zone and the Eurasian Seismic Zone. It is squeezed by the Pacific Plate, the Indian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate, and the seismic fault zones are very active. Earthquakes in China are mainly distributed in five regions: Taiwan Province, Southwest China, Northwest China, North China, southeastern coastal areas and 23 seismic zones.
