Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits are set up for mechanical assembly interaction, allowing the audience to use their imagination to assemble different mechanical transmission mechanisms using gear meshing, belt transmission and the characteristics of different mechanical modules. In the process, they can improve their construction and teamwork abilities, and at the same time learn about the relevant knowledge of mechanical transmission.
How to Operate
The exhibits consist of perforated panel walls, gear models, belts, mechanical mechanism modules, etc.
The exhibits provide a variety of different mechanical mechanism modules, such as gears of different sizes, gears of different shapes, belts, etc. Perforated boards are installed on the wall. The audience collaborates with each other to assemble the modules on the wall to form a complete mechanical transmission system, and successfully drives the large mechanical mechanism at the terminal to operate. Visitors can also process parts for modification in the "Maker Workshop".
A rotatable mechanical bird device is set up above the exhibition item. The audience can use the provided gear to connect it to a fixed handle position, turn the handle and rotate through the gear transmission to watch its operation.
The exhibits are pre-designed with uniform holes on a wide exhibition wall, and hand wheel turntables and demonstration turntables are pre-fixed at both ends of the exhibition wall. When the audience assembles the large and small gears to the appropriate position on the exhibition wall, they can experience whether the gears they assemble by hand cranking the wheel to experience whether the gears they assemble have a speed-up effect or a deceleration effect, giving them a deep understanding of the fun of mechanical design. The gear model is made of EVA material, which is light in weight and high in strength.
