How to Operate
The exhibits include an earthquake-resistant building display platform, an earthquake-resistant building construction platform, and a graphics and text system.
The earthquake-resistant building display platform consists of a booth, a vibration platform and an architectural model. The architectural model includes traditional structural buildings, vibration-isolated structural buildings, and mortise-and-tenon buildings. Visitors can press a button to activate the vibration platform to compare the impact of vibration on buildings with different structures. At the same time, with detailed anatomical models of building structures, they can understand the principles of earthquake-resistant buildings. The earthquake-resistant building construction platform includes a booth, a vibration platform and building modules. Participants can build their own buildings and place them on the vibration platform to see the building's seismic resistance and understand which type of building structure is the most earthquake-resistant.
