Purpose & Scientific Principle
Through model display and interactive experience, participants can understand the functions of the Zhang Heng 1 satellite as well as my country's latest scientific research results and key research directions in studying earthquake mechanisms and predictions.
How to Operate
This exhibition is composed of Zhangheng-1 satellite simulation model, AR virtual enhanced interactive device, automatic rotatable display stand, touch screen, LED screen, etc. Turn the device to participate in the AR virtual interactive experience, aim at a certain part of the Zhang Heng No. 1 model, and view the relevant introduction of the component at that location. Touch screen to query Zhang Heng No. 1 [development background] [origin of name] [main functions] [development significance] [principle demonstration] knowledge. Choose [Principle Demonstration], and the LED will demonstrate an earthquake disaster somewhere on the earth, and Zhang Heng-1 will monitor and record the signal transmission in the area.
"Zhangheng-1" - the electromagnetic monitoring test satellite is the first satellite of the space-based observation platform of China's seismic stereoscopic observation system. It can take advantage of the large dynamics, wide viewing angle, and all-weather advantages of space Earth observation. By acquiring global electromagnetic field, ionospheric plasma, and high-energy particle observation data, it can carry out real-time monitoring of ionospheric dynamics and earthquake precursor tracking in China and its surrounding areas, making up for the shortcomings of ground observations, further promoting the construction of China's three-dimensional seismic observation system, and opening up new ways to explore earthquake monitoring and prediction.
