Purpose & Scientific Principle
The classic theories and assumptions in the theory of relativity are concentratedly displayed in the form of theater, and complex relativity issues are presented artistically and visually, allowing the audience to experience the universe view of relativity.
How to Operate
The theory of relativity is a theory about space-time and gravity. It was mainly founded by Einstein. It can be divided into special relativity and general relativity according to its different research objects. The introduction of relativity theory and quantum mechanics brought revolutionary changes to physics, and together they laid the foundation of modern physics.
The theory of relativity has greatly changed mankind's "common sense" concepts about the universe and nature, and proposed brand-new concepts such as "simultaneous relativity", "four-dimensional space-time" and "curved space-time".
Relativity of simultaneity: Two events occurring at different locations are simultaneous in one inertial frame, but not simultaneous in another inertial frame.
Four-dimensional space-time: According to Einstein's concept, our universe is composed of time and space. The relationship between space and time is that in the structure of space, a time axis is added to the three axes of length, width, and height of ordinary three-dimensional space, and this time axis is an imaginary axis.
Curved space-time: Due to the existence of matter, space and time (space-time) will be curved. The curvature of space-time is the result of mass (energy), and universal gravity is a manifestation of the curvature of space-time.
Shrinking clocks: When an object moves close to the speed of light, time around the object will rapidly slow down and space will shrink rapidly.
