Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition aims to let the audience intuitively experience how space and time are curved by displaying Einstein's ideas about the curvature of space and time.
How to Operate
General relativity believes that any object with mass will distort the surrounding space-time, and the curvature of space-time is the result of this distortion. This kind of curvature is very weak around small-mass objects, but it is very obvious around large-mass objects. It is mainly manifested in the formation of space-time vortices or space-time traps around them. In this way, celestial bodies that are close to each other will tend to fall into the space-time trap. The phenomenon manifested is the mutual attraction of gravity.
Any object with mass will distort the surrounding space-time, and the curvature of space-time is the result of this distortion.
