Purpose & Scientific Principle
From the comparison of ancient characters and the objects they express, understand the origin of "hieroglyphs" and feel the beauty of characters; express yourself with words, allowing the audience to experience China's long history and culture. In addition, the audience will learn about the evolution of Chinese characters from ancient times to the present and the contributions of relevant historical figures through pictures and texts.
How to Operate
The exhibits consist of frames, abyss mirror modules, touch screens, computers, electronic control systems, mechanical projection systems, etc.
The exhibition item creates a Chinese character abyss mirror art space. There is a touch screen on each of the three abyss mirror art walls, and there are Chinese characters in each abyss mirror. The screen is linked to the abyss mirror. The audience touches the screen and selects a Chinese character. The Chinese character in the abyss mirror lights up, and the screen demonstrates the evolution of the Chinese character. The three abyss mirrors illuminate the Chinese characters in three different colors.
A disk and lights are designed on the top of the space. The disk is equipped with various hollow shapes in the evolution process of Chinese characters. Through the rotation of the disk, the lights project the light and shadow of the hollow shapes on the ground, gradually showing the evolution process of Chinese characters.
