Purpose & Scientific Principle
Help children understand the impact of changing the center of gravity of water. Observe the phenomenon of the bucket tipping due to the change in the center of gravity due to the increase in water flow. The "mushrooms" formed by the impact of the water flow on the water mist allow children to discover the relationship between the water flow and the center of gravity and guide them to think.
How to Operate
The exhibits consist of a water mist generator, a self-dumping bucket device, and a water jet device. The water mist generator has been working, and the water mushrooms filled with water mist have been appearing in the pool. The audience controls the pressure pump with a hand wheel to inject water into the top unbalanced bucket. The amount of water in the unbalanced bucket gradually increases. When the water reaches a certain amount, it will flip over momentarily if there is a slight disturbance, and then return to its original position. When the lowest bucket is flipped, the water will be poured onto the water mist mushroom, destroying the smooth mushroom shape, and the water mist will overflow from the "mushroom". Since the amount of water and angle of the unbalanced barrel are random each time it is flipped, the resulting phenomena are also different, and the audience can try it multiple times.
Children have a special attachment to water, and their sensory development can be promoted through contact with water. Children are always active when playing in the water and can do many things with their hands. They can not only move their bodies but also develop their hands-on skills. At the same time, water is not fixed and children can play with it as they wish, allowing children to play as they wish. Water, as an elusive natural thing that is both tangible and intangible, is full of great temptation for children.
