Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition uses interesting human-computer interaction to cultivate the audience's simple understanding of numbers and improve their ability to add and subtract numbers.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are mainly composed of mechanical monkeys, display screens, slide rails, digital label rods, handles, buttons, computers, exhibition walls, etc.
The exhibition item is equipped with a mechanical monkey arithmetic demonstration device in the exhibition wall window. The mechanical monkey is a multi-link mechanism, and two interactive handles are installed outside the window. There are four buttons on the right wall of the exhibition item, representing four calculation methods: addition (A+B), multiplication (A×B) and exponential calculation (BA, AB).
The audience can click a button to select a calculation method, and then a series of numbers will be displayed on the triangular display in the middle of the demonstration device. The audience operates two interactive handles to control the two feet (A, B) of the mechanical monkey to move left and right on the slide rails, pointing them to any two numbers from 1 to 11 on the number label rod. At this time, the overlapping hands of the mechanical monkey will also be linked to point to the corresponding calculation results of these two numbers on the screen.
The monkey can accurately calculate the answer, thanks to the four-bar linkage! The monkey model is a four-bar linkage mechanism based on power operation settings. The position of the adjusting lever is different. The monkey's hands point to the position corresponding to the position of the adjusting lever. When different calculation methods are selected, specially arranged results will appear on the screen, so Mr. Monkey can accurately point out the answer.
