Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition items realize the dialogue between the installation ideas and people through electromechanical soft interaction, and experience the magical visual effects.
How to Operate
The exhibition item is equipped with a mirror interactive device, which consists of several small mirrors of the same shape, arranged in a grid shape to form a flat and evenly stressed surface, and each small mirror has the ability to move in coordination with each other.
When the audience approaches the mirror interactive device, the sensors on each small mirror will tilt its mirror to an angle facing the audience. The device can only produce a linkage reaction based on your position, so only a small part of the mirror moves at a time, creating a magical visual effect for the audience.
The infrared projector continuously emits infrared structured light outward, which is equivalent to the sound waves emitted by bats. The infrared structured light will have different intensity at different distances, just like the sound waves will attenuate. The infrared sensor is equivalent to a bat's ear, which is used to receive feedback messages. Different intensities of structured light will produce different intensities of induction on the infrared sensor. In this way, Kinect knows the depth information of the object in front of it and distinguishes objects of different depths.
