Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition group uses the extraction, purification and then transportation of domestic water to our homes as the background of the story. The movement route of the small ball represents the transportation route of water. The use of mechanical interaction allows children to cultivate their attention, exercise their reflexes, and enhance their understanding of shape characteristics, mechanical movement, and potential energy conversion. Learn how water pumped from the ground or rivers is purified to meet the standards for our daily use.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are mainly composed of circulating ball lifting devices, ball dividing devices, vertical maze devices, horizontal maze devices, Archimedes spiral lifting devices, interesting gear windmills, motion tracks, etc.
The circulating ball lifting device continuously transports the small balls from the previous link to the ball dividing device; when no one interacts, the small balls fall from the hole in the middle of the ball dividing device and move along the ladder track to the ball storage track in the bottom platform body;
Press down the handle on the vertical labyrinth side or the horizontal labyrinth side to drive the ball dividing plate in the ball dividing device to rotate, and introduce the small balls into the labyrinth device on the pressing side of the handle;
Turn the handwheel or handle to control the ball to roll out of the hole in the vertical or horizontal maze and move to the ball track in the bottom platform;
Turn the handwheel, and the Archimedean screw lifting device rotates, lifting the small ball in the ball storage track to the upper track, and the small ball moves along the upper track to the next link.
Tap water is transported from unpolluted rivers and reservoirs to water plants. After it is disinfected by the water plant and reaches drinking water standards, it is then transported to residential water pipes for daily water use by residents.
