Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to understand the impact of the number of organisms in the ecosystem on the ecosystem through interactive multimedia games. The audience can operate freely, explore independently, feel the impact of the number of different creatures on the overall ecology, and learn natural knowledge through play and practice.
How to Operate
The exhibits mainly consist of a table body, LCD TV, interactive table, small ball, and detection system.
There are three holes on the exhibit table, representing grass, sheep and wolves respectively. Putting a small ball into the hole means that the number of that species has increased by a certain proportion. Through the changes in the number of three species, it will demonstrate the impact of a change in the number of one species in the ecological environment on other species, and explain how nature maintains ecological balance.
The area of grassland in my country has been greatly reduced compared with the early 1950s, and the quality has declined: 90% of the available natural grassland has been degraded to varying degrees, of which the area of desertified, degraded and salinized grassland has reached 135 million hectares. The grass production of natural grasslands continues to decrease, while cattle, sheep and other livestock are increasing day by day, and the contradiction between grass and livestock is very prominent.
