Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition items use model display and hands-on touch to feel the physical properties of materials such as softness, hardness, smoothness, and roughness, allowing children to have a basic understanding of material properties and cultivating their spirit of exploration.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are equipped with reversible modules, and each module is a cylindrical structure. The two sides list the name of the item, its characteristics, and the actual object respectively. By gathering objects with different tactile sensations on one surface, you can feel the touch of different substances at once.
Choose common materials in life, such as: pine cones, tires, bark, cotton, towels, silk, sponges, feathers, plush toys, stones, shells, wood, fish scale models, plastic bottles, glass cups, mirrors, plastic ball spines, sticky hands, etc.
The surface characteristics of an object refer to the characteristics that reflect the external behavior of the object. We can use different words such as smooth, rough, smooth, jerky, light, heavy, soft, tough, etc. to express the surface characteristics of the object and reflect the external behavioral characteristics of the object.
