Purpose & Scientific Principle
See the world from a different perspective, understand the material of the mirror and the characteristics of the mirror's imaging, understand the principle of mirror reflection, feel the fantasy world presented by the mirror, and become a parent-child interactive internet celebrity check-in point.
How to Operate
The exhibit is equipped with a large flat mirror placed at an angle, with the mirror surface at 45° to the ground. A wall cutout is installed on the ground. The audience can see the reflected vertical wall from the mirror. Children lying on the cutout look like they are climbing on the wall from the mirror.
The light from the sun or lamp shines on a person and is reflected onto the mirror (this is diffuse reflection). The plane mirror reflects the light into the human eye, so we see a virtual image of ourselves in the plane mirror. (This is the reflection of light by a plane mirror). The image in a plane mirror is formed by the intersection of the extended lines of reflected light, so the image in a plane mirror is a virtual image. The virtual image is the same size and distance from the object. The size of the image and the object are equal. So the image and object are symmetrical to the mirror. This is how looking in the mirror works. It can be said that as long as a plane mirror is used, it must be reflection.
