Purpose & Scientific Principle
There are two major methods in the field of quantum computers: optical quantum computers and superconducting computers. This exhibition displays my country's Zu Chongzhi superconducting quantum computer model, allowing the audience to understand the appearance and principles of superconducting quantum computers, and feel that China's quantum technology is at the forefront of the world.
How to Operate
The exhibition items display the various components of Zu Chongzhi, such as quantum processors, quantum data planes, control and measurement planes, control processor planes, etc. It consists of structural models and touch screens. The model displays the structural form of Zu Chongzhi and introduces important knowledge points of quantum computing through various forms.
On May 7, 2021, a research team composed of Pan Jianwei, Zhu Xiaobo, Peng Chengzhi and others from the Institute of Quantum Information and Quantum Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at the University of Science and Technology of China successfully developed and released the 62-bit superconducting quantum computing prototype "Zu Chongzhi". On this basis, it achieved programmable two-dimensional quantum walking, laying a solid technical foundation for demonstrating quantum superiority on superconducting quantum systems and conducting quantum computing research on issues of major practical value.
