Purpose & Scientific Principle
This immersive interactive exhibition relies on multiple sets of angled plane mirrors to construct an optical exploration space, systematically explaining the law of specular reflection of light and the mechanism of multiple continuous imaging. Teenagers can hold anti-collision bars and explore independently, and intuitively observe the infinite avatars and virtual extended spaces formed by repeated reflections of mirrors. When distinguishing between virtual and real passages, In the process, the imaging characteristics of large symmetrical virtual images such as plane mirrors are concretely recognized; the exhibits transform abstract geometric optical laws into an immersive experience, guiding young people to independently compare the reflection effects of different mirror angles, establish a systematic understanding of the propagation and imaging of light, and cultivate spatial geometric thinking and optical phenomenon exploration literacy.
