Purpose & Scientific Principle
This combined exhibition consists of two immersive optical experience units, the Abyss and the Time Tunnel, which systematically explain the core geometric optical laws of semi-transparent and semi-reflective light splitting and multiple continuous reflections of plane mirrors. The Time Tunnel simultaneously expands the physiological science knowledge related to human vestibular balance perception; teenagers walk through the corridor and intuitively distinguish the underlying logic of transmitted and reflected light to collaboratively generate infinite virtual space, and personally experience the strong contrast between virtual and real vision; the exhibits open up the two major knowledge sections of optical physics and human body perception, guiding teenagers to conduct comparative observation experiments, breaking through The inherent cognition of "seeing is believing" cultivates interdisciplinary scientific inquiry thinking and spatial geometric analysis abilities.
