Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits allow the audience to understand the development of topology in China through free interaction, understand the solution of clever rings, and exercise their mathematical thinking during the interaction.
How to Operate
The exhibit consists of twelve clever rings inspired by the shapes of the twelve zodiac animals.
The difficulty of the exhibits gradually increases from low to high. Participants can freely operate the topology. If they cannot solve it, they can check the prompt steps on the instruction board on the side.
The exhibits are optimized by combining the classic clever ring exhibits. The clever ring is composed of structural elements such as beams, rings, handles, ropes, beads, etc. The exhibits are combined with the shapes of the 12 zodiac signs and designed from simple to difficult to guide the audience to challenge difficulties.
