Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to place their own note balls to feel the rhythm and create music fragments. It aims to stimulate the audience's scientific interest in music and exercise their creativity and imagination.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are composed of induction devices, note balls, speakers, control systems, etc. The sensing device has 20 columns in the horizontal direction and 14 sounds in the vertical direction.
When no one is interacting, the sensor holes flash randomly to attract audience interaction. When the audience participates in the experience, they can hear the sound of the musical instrument by placing the note ball on any sensing hole. The audience places small balls on multiple sensing holes, and the exhibition items will be scanned column by column. The corresponding musical instrument sound will sound in the sensing hole where the small balls are placed. By placing different combinations of note balls, the audience can create music, adjust the position of the ball at any time to adjust the music, and the audience can hear a rhythmic piece of music.
Audiences can follow the instructions to place the balls and listen to the preset music.
The center of the booth is designed with 14 columns and 20 rows of circular holes. A circle of color-changing light strips is set around the holes, and photoelectric sensors are built into the holes. The light strips are scanned column by column in an S-shape. When the sensor detects a small ball, it will send the information to the computer. The computer will play the corresponding sound based on the sensor's position information, allowing the audience to freely compose music.
