Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to freely combine sounds through electromechanical interaction, experience the joy of creating their own music, learn the scientific knowledge of materials and sounds, and realize that they can create music with the help of surrounding objects in life.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are composed of discs, sound blocks, knock sticks, buttons, knobs, etc.
The audience places different sound-producing blocks around the disk as needed, and then presses the button to make the percussion stick start to rotate. Different materials will emit different sounds when struck. The audience adjusts the spacing or placement between the different material blocks, and sets the rotation speed of the percussion stick by turning the knob, and the music will produce different effects. The audience can also replace the percussion stick heads, and after multiple attempts, the audience can compose a wonderful melody.
There are also icons on the table to indicate the placement of the sound blocks. The audience can also place the sound blocks according to the picture to hear a more beautiful preset melody.
The key technology for the collision between the percussion rod head and the interactive parts: the turntable connecting rod and the percussion head are flexibly connected with a tension spring to ensure the effect of the exhibits and effectively extend the life of the connecting rod and interactive parts.
The speed-regulating turntable adopts an independently developed circuit board module to accurately and steplessly control the motor speed, making it easy to debug the matching speed between the turntable and the interactive parts.
