Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to understand the relationship between fluid mechanics and flight, as well as Bernoulli's principle and other related knowledge through interesting paper airplane games.
How to Operate
The exhibition items are composed of paper, targets, protective nets, launching devices, operating tables, etc. The launch pad is an electric mechanism, and the audience can adjust the launch direction.
During the interaction, the audience folded paper airplanes of different shapes according to the paper airplane folding tutorial on the table, inserted them into the ejection device, then pressed the "launch" button, the paper airplane popped up and watched whether it could pass through the target hole.
Try many times to see which paper airplane can fly the highest, farthest and most accurately? Observe the shape and folding method of this paper airplane, and think about why it can fly the highest/farthest/most accurately?
The key technology of the exhibits lies in the high-speed rotation of friction wheels, which rotate in opposite directions at high speed. When the audience places the paper airplane in the appropriate position according to the guidance of the instruction board, the paper airplane will be accelerated and launched into the distance. When the audience can appropriately adjust the level and direction of the launch pad, the paper airplane can also pass through the preset prop holes, which can easily give the audience a sense of accomplishment.
