Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to freely create models according to changing rules to cultivate logical thinking ability and enhance spatial imagination and creativity.
How to Operate
The exhibits consist of touch screens, computers, cameras, interactive models, etc.
During the interaction, the audience can select the "Creation" mode, select an interactive model, follow the screen prompts, and place it under the camera for identification. Then, according to the given change rules, the identified object will be gradually transformed into various wonderful three-dimensional graphics on the touch screen through a series of operations such as rotation, twisting, flipping, and stretching; the final three-dimensional shape can be exported by the audience, and they can apply to have it produced by 3D printing in the "Maker Workshop" to appreciate their own works of art.
The audience can also choose the "puzzle" mode, where the computer will give the final model of the question. Through observation, the audience will think about its original appearance in their mind, and then select the model and try it step by step to see if it can be changed into the question shape given by the computer.
The exhibits use cameras to identify the outlines of modules randomly picked up by the audience, and then change them on the screen according to corresponding rules, resulting in a variety of shapes.
