Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits provide children with a preliminary understanding of dubbing through the practical operation of dubbing and dubbing. At the same time, through foley, children's imagination about sounds is stimulated, and children learn to use the objects around them to jointly explore the mysteries and magic of sounds.
How to Operate
The main body of the exhibition is divided into a foley room and a dubbing room.
When the audience interacts, they can enter the dubbing room on the left, select dubbing clips by touching the screen, follow the prompts, and record dubbing into the microphone. After completion, they can listen to the movie or animation clips they have dubbed and experience the fun of dubbing.
In addition, in the Foley room on the right, the audience can control relevant parts to make the special effects Foley device produce sounds, thereby understanding how sound effects appear in film and television animations, and creating their own dubbing works under media prompts. The foley room is equipped with a rain sound simulator, a train sound simulator, plastic bottles, short pieces of fabric, small piles of plastic strips, banana fans, two coconut shells, aluminum foil, bubble wrap, etc., which are used to simulate the sounds of rain, trains, shaking wooden tables and chairs, candles burning, grass, wind and rain, horse hooves, thunder and crackling sparks when burning.
The exhibit is designed with two relatively closed spaces, a recording studio and a foley room. Through professional recording equipment and audio processors, visitors can experience professional recording studio technical services at the Science and Technology Museum. The Foley room is equipped with professional recording equipment and audio processors, processed by professional audio mixing software, and equipped with pre-confirmed Foley props, so that the audience can enjoy professional Foley studio technical services in the science and technology museum.
