Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition uses lights and curtain walls in three colors of red, green and blue to demonstrate interesting colored shadows through the interaction of participants, guiding the audience to understand the causes of shadows and the principles of three-color light.
How to Operate
The exhibition has a curtain wall, three lighted step buttons on the ground, and three spotlights on the top, which emit red, green, and blue light respectively. The reason why the wall looks white is the result of a proper mixture of these three colors.
The audience can control the turning on and off of these three lights by pressing buttons on the ground, thereby creating shadows in seven colors: cyan, purple, yellow, blue, red, green, and black. When one of the three types of light is blocked, the other two mix to create cyan, purple or yellow shadows. The audience controls the lights to turn on and off, superimpose different colors, and observe what the color of the figure looks like under the illumination of these lights.
This exhibit installs three light sources, red, green and blue, on the top opposite the exhibition wall. Through the audience's personal participation, the audience can intuitively understand the superposition principle of the three primary colors.
