Purpose & Scientific Principle
Through a series of interactions such as binary physical reproduction and computer binary coding, this exhibit shows the audience the basic principles of modern computer operation rules and other knowledge. Let the audience and the computer exchange roles, experience the use of computer language to realize human-machine communication, and experience the transformation of binary forms of numbers, pictures, and voices.
How to Operate
The binary language of modern computers
(1) A bit is a bit in binary and is the smallest unit of information in the computer world.
(2) The binary system is composed of two numbers 0 and 1. The rule of binary number operation is that every two numbers advance to one.
(3) In the computer world, how letters, numbers, pictures and voices are represented in binary.
The exhibits use pictures and texts to popularize basic knowledge about the language of data, the origin and evolution of base systems, and binary systems commonly used in modern computers to the audience. By choosing the interaction of physical flippers, the audience can easily understand the basic principle of "two into one" in binary;
Through multimedia interaction, the audience can observe and understand the conversion between the language of numbers, images, sounds and other information and data in daily life; finally, the audience can learn to use the computer language "0" and "1" to complete letters and say hello to the digital world.
