Purpose & Scientific Principle
Under normal circumstances, sound waves are transmitted into the inner ear through two paths: air conduction and bone conduction, and then vibrated by the internal and perilymph fluid of the inner ear. The spiral organ completes the sound sensing process, and then the auditory nerve generates nerve impulses and presents them to the auditory center. After comprehensive analysis by the cerebral cortex, the sound is finally heard.
How to Operate
The exhibition items mainly demonstrate the principles of bone conduction through interactive methods. The booth is equipped with sound-generating devices, buttons, mobile phone storage slots and metal discs. The buttons and the sound-generating device constitute an automatic demonstration interactive end, and the mobile phone placement slot constitutes an external sound source demonstration interactive end. Take-away sound source demonstration: Place the mobile phone in the mobile phone slot, press the music play button on the mobile phone, place your elbow on the corresponding metal disc, cover your ears, and listen carefully to the sound. Automatic demonstration: press the start button, repeat the above operation and listen to the sound.
1. Place the mobile phone in the mobile phone slot, press the music play button on the mobile phone, place your elbow on the corresponding metal disc, cover your ears with your hands, and listen carefully to the sound;
2. Press the start button, repeat the above operations and listen to the sound.
