Purpose & Scientific Principle
Through interactive viewing, this exhibit provides a comprehensive understanding of the intelligent interconnected asset ecosystem of the smart new energy automobile factory, as well as the development and changes that smart factories will bring to the future manufacturing industry.
How to Operate
(1) Smart factory - infrastructure layer: Smart new energy automobile factories use wireless factory networks to realize automatic issuance of production instructions and automatic collection of equipment and production line information; form an integrated workshop networking environment to solve networking problems between equipment with different communication protocols, as well as between PLC, CNC, robots, instruments/sensors and industrial control/IT systems.
(2) Smart factory - smart equipment layer: Smart new energy automobile factories use various types of intelligent equipment (intelligent production equipment, intelligent testing equipment and intelligent logistics equipment) to provide production, testing and logistics services.
(3) Smart factory - smart production line layer: During the production and assembly process, smart new energy vehicle factories automatically collect production, quality, energy consumption, equipment performance (0EE) and other data through sensors, CNC systems or RFID to form an automated and intelligent production and assembly process.
(4) Smart factory - smart workshop layer: Based on the networking of equipment, smart new energy automobile factories can realize the traceability of the production process, reduce the inventory of in-process products, and use human-machine interfaces (HMI) and mobile terminals such as industrial tablets to achieve paperless production processes.
(5) Smart factory - factory management and control layer: The smart new energy automobile factory realizes the monitoring of the entire production process, provides real-time insight into the factory's operations through the production command system, and achieves collaboration between multiple workshops and resource scheduling.
Smart factory is a new stage in the development of modern factory informatization. It is based on the digital factory, using the technology of the Internet of Things and equipment monitoring technology to strengthen information management and services; clearly grasp the production and marketing process, improve the controllability of the production process, reduce manual intervention on the production line, collect production line data immediately and correctly, and reasonably arrange the production plan and production progress. In addition, emerging technologies such as green and intelligent methods and intelligent systems are integrated to build a humanized factory that is efficient, energy-saving, green and environmentally friendly, and has a comfortable environment. It is the result of the practical application of IBM's "Smart Planet" concept in the manufacturing industry.
