How to Operate
(1) What is an intelligent computing center?
The Intelligent Computing Center is the most important computing power production center in the smart era. It uses a converged architecture computing system as a platform and data as a resource. It can drive AI models with powerful computing power to deeply process data, continuously generate a variety of smart computing services, and provide them to organizations and individuals in the form of cloud services through the network.
(2) "Counting in the East and Counting in the West"
The "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project refers to the construction of a new computing power network system that integrates data centers, cloud computing, and big data to orderly guide the computing power demand from the east to the west, optimize the layout of data center construction, and promote collaborative linkage between the east and west. In February 2022, the construction of national computing hub nodes was launched in 8 locations including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Gansu, and Ningxia, and 10 national data center clusters were planned. At this point, the overall layout design of the national integrated big data center system has been completed, and the "digital data in the east and calculation in the west" project has been officially launched.
The "number" in "East Number and West Number" refers to data, and "calculation" refers to computing power, that is, the ability to process data. "Eastern Data and Western Computing" is to build a new computing power network system that integrates data centers, cloud computing, and big data to orderly guide the computing power demand from the east to the west and optimize the layout of data center construction.
