Purpose & Scientific Principle
This exhibit uses games to guide visitors to experience the workflow of satellite communications and learn about relevant cutting-edge knowledge.
How to Operate
(1) Currently, many people on the earth do not have access to the Internet. This group of people is mainly distributed in plateaus, deep mountains, deserts, oceans and other places. (2) The functions of near-ground communication satellites are becoming increasingly perfect.
(3) The Starlink project and the “GW” State Grid project are well-known low-ground orbit communication satellite projects.
(4) Satellite Internet transmission process: Internet-enabled equipment, modem/router, satellite antenna, space satellite, and network operation center.
Satellite communication means installing a transponder of a certain power on a satellite to properly process the sound or television broadcast signals sent from the ground and broadcast them to another location to achieve communication between two or more places. This type of communication can carry phone calls, radio programs, and television programs. Satellite communications emerged in the mid-1960s. At first, this technology was mainly used to transmit information between continents and oceans. With the improvement of technology and the reduction of costs, since the 1970s, some countries have successively used satellite communications to develop domestic telephone and radio and television signal transmission.
