Purpose & Scientific Principle

This exhibit uses an interesting base station module arrangement game to let the audience understand the site selection requirements and rules of 5G base stations, the signal coverage of 5G base stations and the key 5G technology millimeter wave communication technology. Let the audience enhance their understanding and interest in 5G infrastructure construction.

How to Operate

(1) Location requirements for 5G base stations.

(2) Signal coverage of 5G base stations.

(3) 5G key technology millimeter wave communication technology.

(4) Advantages of millimeter wave communication.

The fifth generation mobile communication technology (5th Generati Ön Möbile C Ömm Unicati Ön Techn Öl Ögy, referred to as 5G) is a new generation of broadband mobile communication technology with the characteristics of high speed, low latency and large connections. 5G communication facilities are the network infrastructure that realizes the interconnection of humans, machines and things.

The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) has defined three major application scenarios for 5G, namely enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) and massive machine type communications (mMTC). Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) is mainly aimed at the explosive growth of mobile Internet traffic and provides mobile Internet users with a more extreme application experience; Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) is mainly aimed at the application needs of vertical industries with extremely high requirements on latency and reliability, such as industrial control, telemedicine, and autonomous driving; Massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC) is mainly aimed at application needs targeting sensing and data collection such as smart cities, smart homes, and environmental monitoring.
