Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition allows the audience to participate in the fantastic images produced by the reflection of light and understand the principle of light reflection.
How to Operate
The reflection of light refers to the phenomenon that when a wave front enters from one medium into another medium, its propagation direction changes at the interface of the two media and returns to its original medium. In the reflection phenomenon of light, both diffuse reflection and specular reflection follow the law of light reflection, that is, in the reflection phenomenon, the reflected light, the incident light, and the normal are in the same plane; the reflection angle is equal to the incident angle; the reflected light and the incident light are separated on both sides of the normal; light is reversible, and the light path in the reflection phenomenon of light is reversible. The image produced by a plane mirror is caused by the reflection of light.
Plane mirror imaging is a physical phenomenon. It means that the light from the sun or lamp shines on the person, is reflected on the mirror surface, and the plane mirror reflects the light into the person's eyes, so we see our own virtual image in the plane mirror. When you look in the mirror, you can see another "you" in the mirror. The "person" in the mirror is your "image". In mirror imaging, what you see to your left is still on the left, and what you see to your right is still on the right. But if two people are facing each other, your left is to the other person's right, and your right is to the other person's left. This effect is also called mirroring.
