How to Operate
Hualong One - the safest nuclear power plant in the world; "Hualong One" is an advanced one-million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology developed by China's two major nuclear power companies based on more than 30 years of experience in nuclear power scientific research, design, manufacturing, construction and operation in China, based on feedback from the Fukushima nuclear accident experience and the latest safety requirements in China and the world.
Hualong One has "177 sets of fuel assembly cores", "multiple redundant safety systems" and "safety measures that combine active and passive safety measures" as its main technical features. It adopts the world's highest safety requirements and the latest technical standards, meets the safety requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency, meets the third generation technical standards of the United States and Europe, and makes full use of my country's nearly 30 years of nuclear power plant design, construction and operation. It fully draws on the valuable experience, technology and talent advantages accumulated by the camp; fully draws on advanced nuclear power technologies including AP1000 and EPR; fully considers domestic and foreign experience feedback after the Fukushima nuclear accident, and fully implements nuclear safety supervision requirements; fully relies on China's mature nuclear power equipment manufacturing system and capabilities, adopts proven mature technologies, and achieves integrated innovation.
