Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits allow the audience to enter the space living module, witness with their own eyes the living environment of astronauts in the "Tianhe" core module living area, and understand how the space station ensures astronauts have a more comfortable and humane on-orbit life.
How to Operate
The China Space Station is based on the "humanized" design concept. In order to improve the "comfort" of astronauts' space life, designers have reserved a relatively ample living environment for it. The overall design takes into account both privacy and convenience, which greatly improves the quality of astronauts' space life. The living area inside the cabin includes separate sleeping, sanitary and exercise areas, as well as a space kitchen and dining area. In the sleeping area, each astronaut can enjoy an independent sleeping space to ensure uninterrupted sleep; in the health area, although astronauts cannot enjoy showers and baths like on earth, everyone can use a spray gun to scrub themselves clean in the "wrapped shower room" to maximize personal hygiene problems; in the dining area, there are also microwaves, refrigerators, water dispensers, folding tables and other furniture; in the exercise area, there are also space treadmills, space bicycles, resistance tensioners and other fitness equipment to meet the astronauts' daily exercise. In addition, during the operation of the space station, designers also reserved a private voice channel for astronauts to make calls with their families and share their feelings about life in space.
The exhibits mainly show the audience the living environment of astronauts in the core module. By allowing them to enter the core module, they can observe and witness with their own eyes the sleeping area, sanitary area, fitness area and other different living areas of astronauts, understand the development process of space things, participate in the interaction of the space and earth call modules, reveal the humanized design of the cabin, and satisfy the audience's curiosity about astronauts' life in orbit.
