Purpose & Scientific Principle
This exhibit hopes to allow the audience to understand the relationship between aerospace technology and our daily life and the application of technology in daily life by watching videos.
How to Operate
Aerospace technology that sounds “high-end” is actually not only used for space exploration, but also exists around us in a very down-to-earth way.
Clothes: Air-cushion shoes utilize the "hollow blow molding" technology used to make the inner lining of space suits. By inflating air into the membrane to make the sole, a pair of air-cushioned shoes with excellent cushioning properties are born.
Food: Vegetable packets in instant noodles, originally invented for manned space missions. In order to store astronauts' food for a long time, engineers used freeze-drying technology to reduce the weight of vegetables by 20%, while retaining 98% of their nutrients.
Note: The thermal insulation material nano-aerogel used in some key parts of China's Tianwen-1 and Zhurong Mars rovers and the Long March rocket has been used in housing insulation structures to make people live safe and comfortable.
Line: The "two-dimensional phased array user station" born based on aerospace technology, after being installed on a high-speed train, as an important part of the space-based broadband Internet system, can establish a data transmission link between users and satellites to achieve extremely high-speed Internet access.
The exhibits are in line with the theme of aerospace technology, using the shape of the portholes of the spacecraft as a creative source to create a wall window with a full sense of technology.
