Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits use interactive multimedia and electromechanical interaction to experience astronaut emergency training and simulated flight program training, conduct pre-simulation and fault handling of the emergency flight control process, and train astronauts to accurately control and operate the spacecraft in emergency and normal conditions.
How to Operate
The brain function training device is used to train astronauts to accurately operate and drive spacecraft under various conditions. Affected by the gravity field, with the head up and the feet down, we are accustomed to working in a normal posture and can do many more complex movements. However, due to the influence of star gravity, ion flow, solar wind and other factors in space, it will be much more difficult to perform simple actions due to changes in the gravity environment. This requires brain function training to compensate.
In order to properly handle unexpected situations during the mission, it is necessary to dynamically monitor and determine whether the spacecraft status is normal during the control process. If an abnormality is found, timely decision-making is required to transfer to the appropriate emergency process. It is precisely because of the dynamics and complexity of the flight control process that it brings difficulties and challenges to flight control decision-making. Therefore, when encountering sudden or unexpected situations, pre-simulating the emergency flight control process is an effective method and approach to improve the accuracy of decision-making.
The "Brain Function Training" exhibit leads the audience to immerse themselves in a series of brain function training experienced by astronauts. It uses a combination of multimedia demonstrations and electromechanical interaction to more intuitively display the various emergencies that astronauts need to deal with and understand the thinking abilities that astronauts need to have through immersive simulation training scenarios, brain tests and astronauts' brain function training popular science videos.
