Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits adopt the interactive method of flipping through the "Book of Myths", allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the early romantic imagination of mankind about the universe and the origin of mankind, and understand the difference between the myths of the origin of the Eastern and Western worlds, thereby inspiring curiosity and desire to explore the starry universe.
How to Operate
Myth is the crystallization of a national culture and thought. It reflects the ancient people's understanding and attitude towards the world, all things, and the future of the universe. The three oldest mythological systems in the world, Chinese classical mythology (Pangu opening the sky, Nuwa mending the sky, Dunhuang flying to the sky, Chang'e flying to the moon, Houyi shooting the sun), Hebrew mythology and ancient Greek mythology all have similar but different records about the origin of the universe and mankind. By opening the Book of Myths device, the audience triggers the recitation of mythological content and appreciates the mysterious and fantastic ancient universe.
"The Myth of the Starry Sky" mainly expresses various fantasies about the origin of the universe and the birth of human beings in different ancient civilizations. The design uses physical acrylic pages to give the audience the experience of opening a historical book. The media content switches with the turning of the pages, making it more mythical. At the same time, multiple groups of mythological stories are selected in terms of content to highlight the ancient people's struggle against natural forces and pursuit of ideals.
