Purpose & Scientific Principle

This exhibit uses a naked-eye 3D array screen, combined with a touch screen in the form of multimedia interaction, allowing the audience to observe and understand the rocket launch principle, the functions of each rocket component, design the rocket, start the rocket launch and other interactive forms, deepen their understanding of the structure and launch principle of the Long March series of launch vehicles, and feel the Chinese aerospace spirit.

How to Operate

The Long March series launch vehicles are space launch vehicles independently developed by China. The Long March rocket has the ability to launch different types of satellites and manned spacecraft in low, medium and high earth orbits, and has unmanned deep space exploration capabilities. The low Earth orbit (LEO) carrying capacity reaches 25 tons, the sun synchronous orbit (SSO) carrying capacity reaches 15 tons, and the geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO) carrying capacity reaches 14 tons. The exhibit’s launch demonstration is the Long March 5B carrier rocket.

The Long March 5B launch vehicle is a new type of launch vehicle specially developed for the construction of the China Manned Space Engineering Space Station. It is an improved version of the Long March 5 rocket. It is a new generation launch vehicle with the largest low-Earth orbit carrying capacity in China. The total length of the rocket is 53.7 meters, the take-off weight is 837.5 tons, and the low-Earth orbit carrying capacity is more than 22 tons.

The "Arrow Points to the Sky" exhibit focuses on the structure, appearance, function and launch scenes of China's Long March series of launch vehicles. It uses a naked-eye 3D array screen with visual tension to give the audience an extremely shocking visual enjoyment of rocket launches.
