The exhibits are linked with the exhibits "02-05 The Formation of the Sun and the Solar System" and "02-09 Eight Planets" to create a micro theater to regularly interpret the operation of the asteroid belt and create an overall atmosphere of the solar system.
How to Operate
The asteroid belt is a dense area of asteroids in the solar system between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. 98.5% of asteroids are discovered here, and there are 120,437 numbered asteroids. Since the asteroid belt is the area with the highest density of asteroids, this area is also called the main belt.
There are more than 500,000 asteroids gathered in the asteroid belt, a space area about 2.17-3.64 astronomical units from the sun. So many asteroids can be condensed in the asteroid belt. In addition to the gravitational effect of the sun, the gravitational pull of Jupiter also plays a role.
The exhibits show the appearance of the asteroid belt, with the linked hanging sun and eight planets lighting up and flashing at regular intervals, enriching the atmosphere of the starry universe and allowing you to feel the charm of the asteroid belt.
