This exhibition reveals the importance of hybrid rice in solving food problems, demonstrates the innovation of hybrid rice, and conveys Yuan Longping's scientific spirit of caring for the world.
How to Operate
This exhibition mainly tells the public about the hard work, unremitting efforts and extraordinary achievements of agricultural scientists represented by Yuan Longping in solving China's food problems. (1) The success of hybrid rice means that the Chinese people have completely got rid of hunger. The successful cultivation of hybrid rice proves the great role of scientific development in promoting the national economy. (2) Yuan Longping has been "aiding Africa" for more than ten years. He has been tirelessly exploring the potential of hybrid rice to increase production for decades. In the last few years of his life, he was still committed to the research and development of sea rice, in order to fulfill his desire to feed people all over the world.
The exhibition items are composed of multimedia somatosensory interactive devices. Through somatosensory interaction, an animation is triggered in which Yuan Longping tells the audience the dream of enjoying the cool air under the grass. This exhibition tells the public about the hard work, unremitting efforts and extraordinary achievements of agricultural scientists represented by Yuan Longping in solving China's food problems.
