Purpose & Scientific Principle
This exhibition introduces the construction process, value and significance of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, demonstrating China's comprehensive national strength, independent innovation capabilities, and national ambition to create a world-class country, allowing the audience to feel our country's fighting spirit of building roads in the mountains and building bridges in the water.
How to Operate
The exhibition items mainly display the following content: (1) The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the cross-sea bridge with the longest mileage, the longest immersed tunnel, the longest life, the largest steel structure, the most difficult construction, the highest technical content, the largest scientific patents and the largest amount of investment in the world; the technology and equipment scale of the bridge project have set multiple world records. The completion and opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has greatly shortened the time and space distance between Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao; as a milestone in China's transformation from a major bridge country to a powerful bridge country, the bridge is hailed by the industry as the "Mount Everest" of the bridge industry; (2) It demonstrates the technical points and key technical principles of the artificial islands, submarine tunnels and bridge towers connected by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
The exhibition uses large-scale scene graphics, engineering model displays, touch-screen inquiries, large-screen demonstrations, etc. to allow the audience to understand the relevant knowledge of the three key projects of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and how Chinese bridge scientists use "the best in the world" to realize China's bridge dream. The scene pictures and texts allow the audience to see the whole picture of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the multimedia on the wall introduces the construction process of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge; the three platforms are respectively placed with models of "steel tube encirclement filling and island creation, immersed tube tunnel underwater docking, and prefabricated cable tower traction and hoisting". Each model corresponds to a touch screen. During standby, the audience is introduced to the technical principles of filling islands with steel tubes, underwater docking of immersed tube tunnels, and traction and hoisting of prefabricated cable towers through animation simulation during standby. During interaction, the audience completes the game interaction by dragging different modules according to the prompts, allowing the audience to gain an in-depth understanding of the difficulties and key points of these three technologies during the game.
