Purpose & Scientific Principle
Objects in the gravity field will naturally lower their center of gravity due to the effects of gravity and the gravity of the earth. Under the influence of gravity, an object will move toward a lower center of gravity. On the surface, it seems that the cone is rolling upward along the track, but in fact, the center of gravity of the object (double cone) with a small distance between the two single tracks at the low end of the track is high, and the center of gravity of the object (double cone) with a large distance between the two single tracks at the high end of the track is low, and the object is rolling from the high end of the track to the low end.
How to Operate
The exhibition item consists of V-shaped inclined guide rails, brackets and double cones. Setting a movable hinge in the middle of the guide rail can change the angle of the guide rail, allowing the double cone to move back and forth on the guide rail. When the audience participates, pick up the cone and place it on the lower end of the guide rail, observe the movement of the double cone on the guide rail, use the handle to control the angle, and then observe the movement of the double cone.
1. Pick up the vertebral body and place it on the lower end of the guide rail, and observe the movement of the vertebral body;
2. Turn the turntable to adjust the opening and closing angle of the guide rail and observe the movement of the vertebral body.
