Purpose & Scientific Principle
Multiple sets of interactive mechanisms are set up, and the audience uses different interactive methods to run generators, create current, and light up electrical devices. It aims to let the audience know the representative inventions of the electrical age and their corresponding scientists, and understand the impact and significance of various electrical inventions on society.
How to Operate
During the second industrial revolution, the application of "electricity" began to move from the theoretical research stage to the common people's vision and integrated into all aspects of people's lives. The invention of a series of electrical appliances has made people's daily lives more colorful. The change in the production and living patterns of human beings who rest at sunset has accelerated the development of industrial industries, and mankind has officially entered the "Electrical Age". Since the 1860s and 1870s, representative electrical appliance inventions:
In 1866, Siemens invented the self-excited DC generator;
Bell invented the telephone in 1876;
In 1877, Edison invented the phonograph;
Edison improved the electric light in 1879;
In 1881, China introduced the first telephone;
James Byron invented the electric fan in 1882;
In 1885, Italian physicist Ferraris and American physicist Tesla invented the AC induction motor;
In 1886, Standley built an AC power station;
Alexander invented the electric hair dryer in 1890;
In 1894, Edison invented the movie projector.
Run generators, create electricity, and light up electrical devices.
