Purpose & Scientific Principle

The electromagnetic gun is an advanced kinetic energy killing weapon made using electromagnetic launch technology. Unlike traditional cannons that apply gunpowder gas pressure to the projectile, the electromagnetic gun uses the Lorentz force generated by the electromagnetic field in the electromagnetic system to accelerate the metal projectile to achieve the kinetic energy required to hit the target. Electromagnetic guns can greatly increase the muzzle velocity and range of projectiles compared to traditional gunpowder-propelled projectiles. It will not produce strong shock waves and diffuse smoke, so it has good concealment.

How to Operate

The exhibition items are composed of projectors, computers, targets, coils, launch tubes, and metal balls. Install a launch pipe on the operating table and wind 3 sets of coils on the pipe. During the interaction, put the metal ball into the entrance of the launch pipe, press the launch button, and the coil is quickly energized. The coil generates a magnetic field under the instant strong current to attract the metal ball. As the ball accelerates, the coils at all levels are energized sequentially, turning the ball into a high-speed shooting shell. The projector throws different targets and randomly changes their positions, and the participants turn the emission tube to modulate the angle to emit small

1. Put the ball into the pitching port;

2. Adjust the direction of the "cannon barrel" and aim at the multimedia activity target;

3. Press the "Launch" button to launch the ball.
