Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibition aims to allow the audience to experience the form of sending Morse code, understand the sending process of wireless telegraphy, and experience the chronological way of sending information.
How to Operate
Morse code is a signal code that is on and off, expressing different English letters, numbers and punctuation marks through different arrangements. Unlike modern digital communications, Morse code only uses binary codes of two states: zero and one. Its codes include five types: a short dot signal "·", a long signal "-" that is maintained for a certain period of time, indicating a pause between dots and dashes, a medium pause between each word, and a long pause between sentences.
