Purpose & Scientific Principle
An ideological theory that demonstrates that gravitational mass and accelerated mass are equivalent in a specific space environment.
How to Operate
The equivalence principle is the first basic principle of general relativity and the core foundation of the entire general theory of relativity. Its basic meaning is that the gravitational field is equivalent to a reference frame moving with appropriate acceleration.
Einstein believed that the effect of gravity must be considered to achieve balance between inertial and non-inertial frames. He proposed that the general theory of relativity is based on the following two basic assumptions:
(1) Equivalence principle: Any physical effects of the inertial force field and the gravitational field are locally indistinguishable.
(2) General covariance principle: Any reference system is equal, or in other words, the objective and real physical laws should remain unchanged under any coordinate transformation, that is, they satisfy general covariance.
