Purpose & Scientific Principle
The aim is to allow the audience to intuitively see the "invisible" magnetic field lines of the magnetic field through the different deflection directions and degrees of the small magnetic needle, and to think about the distribution characteristics of the magnetic field lines around the magnet.
How to Operate
Magnetic field lines are closed curves of magnetic field distribution, which were first invented and introduced by the famous physicist Faraday. In the electric field, electric field lines can be used to vividly describe the direction of the electric field at each point. In the magnetic field, magnetic field lines can also be used to vividly describe the direction of the magnetic field at each point. Magnetic field lines are some directional curves or straight lines that are drawn in the magnetic field but do not actually exist. The tangent direction of each point on these curves is consistent with the direction of the magnetic field at that point.
Characteristics of magnetic field lines:
① The magnetic lines of force on the outside of the magnet come out from the N pole and return to the S pole, and from the S pole to the N pole on the inside. The external magnetic field lines are curves, while the internal magnetic field lines are straight lines.
②Every magnetic field line is a closed curve, and any two magnetic field lines do not intersect.
③The tangent direction of each point on the magnetic field line indicates the direction of the magnetic field at that point.
④The density of magnetic field lines indicates the intensity of magnetic induction.
⑤ Magnetic lines of force are artificially imaginary, while magnetic fields exist objectively.
Magnetic field lines are closed curves of magnetic field distribution. In electric fields, electric field lines can be used to vividly describe the direction of the electric field at each point. In magnetic fields, magnetic field lines can also be used to graphically describe the direction of the magnetic field at each point. Magnetic field lines are some directional curves or straight lines that are drawn in the magnetic field but do not actually exist. The tangent direction of each point on these curves is consistent with the direction of the magnetic field at that point.
