Purpose & Scientific Principle
The theorem of electromagnetic induction shows that when a part of the conductor in a closed circuit moves to cut the magnetic field lines in the magnetic field, a current will be generated in the conductor. This phenomenon is called electromagnetic induction. The current produced is called induced current. If the area of the closed coil remains unchanged, if the magnetic field intensity is changed, the magnetic flux will also change, and electromagnetic induction will also occur. Therefore, closed metal will also produce induced electromotive force and induced current in the magnetic field where the magnetic flux changes. The induced current produces a magnetic field. This magnetic field is opposite to the original magnetic field, thus generating a repulsive force.
How to Operate
When the coil is energized, a strong magnetic field is generated instantly. The movement of the ball induces a current and generates an opposite magnetic field. Then it rolls from the initial position of the coil to the next coil due to the interaction of the two magnetic fields. The sensor signal of the next coil controls the coil to be energized. The ball gains energy and accelerates again. After several groups of coils, it is repeatedly accelerated to make the luminous ball move faster and faster.
Press the start button and observe the movement of the ball.
