How to Operate
my country's carbon emissions from building materials production are generally on an upward trend. From 2005 to 2020, the average annual growth rate is 6.5%, which is the same as the increase in energy consumption. In 2020, China's energy consumption during the production stage of building materials accounted for 22.3% of the country's total, and its carbon emissions accounted for 28.2% of the country's total. Among them, the carbon emissions from the production of traditional building materials such as steel and cement accounted for more than 95% of the carbon emissions from the production of building materials. It is the most important factor in the high carbon emissions of the building materials industry.
For this reason, the development and promotion of green building materials has an important impact on carbon emissions in the construction industry. Green building materials are building materials products that can reduce the consumption of resources and the impact on the ecological environment during their entire life cycle, and have the characteristics of energy saving, emission reduction, safety, health, convenience, and recyclability. The use of green building materials can promote the establishment of low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and efficient green construction and truly realize industrial transformation.
Green building materials mainly include green energy-saving glass, door and window materials, wall materials, thermal insulation materials, and green decorative materials.
(1) Green energy-saving glass material: ① Insulating glass is a glass material composed of an air layer between two or more layers of glass. It can effectively insulate, sound and heat, reduce building energy loss, and improve the energy-saving performance of the building. ②Soundproof glass is a green energy-saving glass material that has good sound insulation effect through special processing. It can effectively reduce the interference of indoor and outdoor noise and improve indoor comfort. ③ Insulating glass is a kind of glass with a special coating that can reduce indoor heat loss and outdoor heat entry, thereby improving the thermal insulation performance of the building and reducing energy consumption for air conditioning and heating. ④ Low-emissivity glass is a green energy-saving glass material made using nanotechnology and vacuum coating technology. It has good heat insulation, sound insulation, heat preservation and other properties, which can reduce indoor energy loss and improve indoor comfort.
(2) Door and window materials: ① Broken bridge aluminum doors and windows use thermally insulated broken bridge aluminum profiles and insulating glass, which have the functions of energy saving, sound insulation, noise prevention, dustproof, and waterproofing.

The exhibits are equipped with cabinets on the exhibition wall. There are 22 kinds of green building materials built into the cabinets. A touch all-in-one machine is set up in the center of the cabinets. Through the physical display and multimedia query mode, the audience's interest in exploring green building materials is stimulated.
