How to Operate
New materials refer to newly emerged materials with excellent performance or special functions, or materials whose performance is significantly improved or new functions are produced after improvement of traditional materials. The new materials industry is one of the emerging industries with the most active innovation and rapid development in the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. From the perspective of the development of the global new materials industry, countries around the world are actively integrating the development of new materials with the green and low-carbon economy. According to my country's plan, new material fields related to energy conservation, emission reduction, and green mainly include light alloys, green building materials, biomaterials, advanced chemical materials, new energy materials, heat-resistant materials, etc. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Anhui Province listed the new materials industry as one of the top ten emerging industries to be developed during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Accelerating the development of the new materials industry is of great strategic significance for leading the development of strategic emerging industries, promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and accelerating the process of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
The exhibits respond to the relevant requirements of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, with the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction, and achieving relatively "zero emissions". Fifty new material products are selected. The material products mainly select key and advantageous new materials in the "14th Five-Year Plan" new materials development plan of my country and Anhui Province.
